misfire
installed a new cap and rotor and now everytime it starts going into high rpm's it'll just make a pop pop pop sound. what could it be? no other changes were made to my car besides the new cap and rotor

a pop pop?, can you feel a drain in power, like it is running on less than 4 cylinders?
I would go with replacing other ignition components, plugs, wires, maybe even the ignitor if that has gone bad

i don't know what he means by that either, but i would think if they are in the wrong order it wouldn't run fine in the lower rpms either. check your wires and plugs though
