Default Passenger Drive shaft wont go in??

I have a 92 integra 4dr (b18a1 motor). I just got my motor back from the shop and installing it back in the teg. everything else fits except the driver side drive shaft. everytime i put it in..its like the teeth are getting more messed up..so i filled it down and still...the retainer clip is wedged dow in the grove...could that be the problem?

Passenger side or drivers side? Title says one, post says the other. Don't file anything. Sometimes they are just hard to push in. Lube it up, turn the axle a few degrees and try again, mine was a bitch also, but finally went in.

The clip should be in the groove on the end of the axle, and should be able to move around.

yea I agree... don't file NOTHING... i just bought a brand new passenger axle and had a lot of trouble getting it in when the old one goes in and out fine. I tired filing it and I almost didn't back out, i actually pulled so hard the bearings inside the boot fall off, so I took it back and warrentied it and said look your axle fell apart, lol... anyway, lubin is the way, after i lubed mine and a little finess, went in nice and smooth... lol just thought of the way I worded that, think dirty, lmao... good luck

Two things:
1st. Is your axle ok, everything is seated properly, like the boot can't just pop off or anything? That could be a problem with it lining up.
2nd. Make sure you are pushing the axle straight in, if you have it an an angle it won't go in, and you should lube it up to put it in (haha, any time you put it in it should be lubed)
