00 si wire harness help
well i have a 96 dx coupe and i just changed every harness the car has to a 00 si harness.. everything went well but in teh floor harness when u plug it up 2 the fuel pump theres an extra plug in the si harness that the dx fuel pump dont have....si harness has 3 plugs and the fuel pump has 2.....sop i got the si fuel pump and it also has 2 plugs not 3..wats the extra plug?
theres 3 plugs down there.. One goes into the fuel pump, one goes into some other things that goes into the gast tank( maybe the fuel guage reader) then theres a seperate plug thats connected to some other harness.. I think thats the one you cant find plugged
cuz i wanted 2 do a 2000 si wire harness 2 my 96dx. i didnt like the rigged vtec. i wanted everything nice and clean. plus when i put my a/c the car idled really low and it wood turn off...

You've probably created more problems than you solved by going this route. What ECU are you using - a 2000 Si? The 2000 Si looks for an FTP sensor which your Dx may not have (this may be the plug that you can't seem to find something to plug it into) and there isn't a 'fix' for this code either (usually Code 90).

Do you have emissions where you live? If yes, since you're OBD2, when you go into the station to get checked, they hook up a scanner to the ECU - OBD1 ECU's can't talk to that scanner so you instantly fail.
FTP stands for Fuel Tank Pressure sensor and is used in the detection of leaks in the EVAP equipment.
Yes you can run a jumper harness + P28.
