heater core climate control fan resistor no worky
the climate control fan doesnt come on at any speed. the a/c fan and components have all been removed, but still the interior fan should come on, the heater core or something like that right?
the radio still works, but no matter which speed, the fan wont turn on, or the lights on the buttons for where the air is supposed to go.
any idea what it is? i checked the fuses and everythings ok. the car turns on, starts over fine, all the other dash gauge panel lights work.
someone said it might be the core resistor, but where do i find that in a del sol? and what do i have to take apart to get to it?
thanks

ttt...i have the exact problem. ive taken the dash out and hot wire the fan to a battery and it blows strong. put the dash back and plug everything back, nothing. the lights on the cluster works, everything works (fuse, etc) the fan doesnt blow on any level at all. and this is in a del sol as well. help

Be sure to check all ground connections and continuities.
YMMV, etc.

i tried e-mailing u with the schematic, but it came back (unknown e-mail).
since you put direct power to the blower, your switch and ground is good. if u could see the schematic, it's contorlled by a realy, i don't know exactly where the relay is, but it's the blower motor relay. Do u know how to jumper a relay?

Did you check fuses?

I checked all my fuses and they are good, I am thinking that it could be one of the relays. Problem is I don't know where it is and how to check it (tried relay testing before and didn't work for me)
