toyoya ct26 turbo fit b18b?
hi guys i just recently bought b18b block with arias turbo piston (brand new) for 6 bills with turbo and only turbo but the turbo is made for toyota supra or is it MR2? will anyways its a ct26 turbo and i was wondering will it fit the b18b with customize piping..... it should be ok right?
You will need an adapter plate to connect the ct-26 to the exhaust manifold. Its been done plenty of times on crx's with the hf manifold and the mitsubishi 4g63 turbos.
They are easy to make, but first you have to see what type of flange is on your exhaust manifold that you plan to run.

has anyone used this turbo on their b series motor before? if so how many psi can the turbo handle? is it good as in reliability? please share ur experience or knowledge of anykind that you have with this turbo and b series thanks
is there anyway to make it pull after 5500 rpm i heard good things about it when people rebuilt it or somthing. I've been doing a lot of research on it on google but iono I just need more info. As for 15 psi its good enought but stop pulling after 5500 rpm man that sucks thats when vtec kick in. So is there any way to make it pull after 5500? or does anyone have a different opinion on it. Imma use it on a future project b18b - b16head- b16 tranny with ct-26 turbo as for the b18b i got arias turbo piston for it already (brand new) so how do u think this setup perform with the ct-26 turbo?

there is something called the ct27, which is just a upgraded ct26. that thing will give you some mad horse power. on a mr2 with stock internal that turbo can pull close to 300 whp.
how much would the upgrade cost ? and when you mean upgrade you mean taking my ct-26 turning it into a ct-27 right? or do you mean go buy the upgrade ct-27? and i dont have a MR2 im gonna use this turbo on a b18b w/ arias piston so iono if im able to make 300 or not but yea b18 not MR2
turbo will work as long as you get the manifold fabricated to fit, i seriously doubt that the turbo quits pulling after 5500rpm, its should work fine with all the right tuning
Yea I just got back from my friend house about 5 minutes ago he said the same thing. He said the turbo is still gonna pull even after 5500rpm. There's so many things said about this turbo I really dont know what to believe anymore. My friend said this turbo come from the old supra, I searched on google and other threads and they said its MR2 turbo, others said Celica Turbo... so which one is it really.......

the ct26 can be off a mk3 supra, mr2 and celica all trac. im currently using a ct26 form a supra. the one im using was upgraded to a 62 trim so its laggy as hell but whoever said they die out at 5500 rpm is very incorrect. keep in mind mine is the 62 trim but i dont see boost until 4-5k rpm. full boost right when vtec kicks in at 5700. pulls hard to 8500 rpm even higher if i wanted but i dont wanna blow it up. definetly use it. make sure you water cool it aswell, i didnt and i ran it for less than a week and the seals are already blown. they get real hot real fast. if you have any questions about it or want to see pics email me at jordan_112_zwickl@yahoo.com
