B16CRX W/O LSD times?
how fast have you guys gone with out lsd, stock motor on a 1/4 mile.
on the street i have a hard time hooking my tire in second gear by the time i shift to 3rd my friend passes me with a gsr hatch with lsd he has a y70 tranny.
there is other coky *** dude with a ITR 98 spec swap on his hatch, that wants to race me, should i go race him to see how much i can keep up with it, i have 90dx stock with an all stock b16.

i stayed dead even with my friend's 98 gsr w/ itr swap (del slo b16 tranny) with my 91 hf with mostly stock b16a (itr im & tb, dc sports 4-2-1 & straight pipe). i thank my short-geared ys1 for my ability to hang with the bigger & more powerful motor. the weight diff helps, too.

i should have got the lsd wen i got my swap but at the time i didnt care about it.
anyone here have a semi/built b16 with a non lsd tranny or how about with turbo i hear it is imposible to hook on the road with a turbo on a b16 with out lsd.

I feel the same way. Just a few hundred more dollars would have solved so much...
I have an ITR motor on an open diff YS1. It lays two strips pretty well, but I don't drag race very much at all. I will say that is is EXTREMEMLY hard to put the power down in the turns on a road course, even through 3rd and 4th. Slower turns in 2nd are the worst, it will spin right off the track if I let it.

two strips as in both tires, man lsd's are expensive and lsd cable trannys as well people want to much for them,

In my B16 I have CAI and everything else Stock. With my GS-R Ys-1. I Did a 50 roll with an S2k calming only mod was headers. And i spanked him......The tranny dropped into 3rd, then i slmmaed up into 4th and just took it all the way to 110+
The tranny makes the motor. I am a firm beleiver of it.
