sorry, i don't know anything about the cartech (other than that it's a bitch to tune ) but you should shoot for around 11.5:1 to 12:1 a/f ratio for a safe mixture... 12.5:1 for max power (but higher risk!)

please explain..

11.5 is a leaner mixture compared to 12.5

problem is i cant get a 'flat' AF ratio and have to tune accordingly,
and get a nice 'slope' to get close to 12.5 as possible...thanks for the input. anybody else..??

No, 11.5 is definitely richer than 12.5

A/F ratio is air divided by fuel... lower number = more fuel, less air, = richer.

Your car cruises around 14.7:1 for ideal efficiency, but typically 12.5 is the target for max power; tune to 11.5 or 12 for some safety margin.

Can you explain what you mean by "can't get a flat AF ratio?"

sorry my bad on that..11.5 is richer that 12.5
brain freeze..

'horizontal ideal' -----------------

i guess guys with hondata have soo much tuning ability
they can get a real steady level AF ratio...

Vortech FMU u cant adjust, (at all)
cartech (minimal adjustment) to raise Xamount per psi boost etc etc..
