Best way to bleed air from cooling system?
simply open the radiator cap to let the air out a little. twist the *** on the bottom of the radiator to drain out some fluids that may have air bubbles. refill the radiator. best if the motor is not hot!!!
i notice doing it after the motor is warm is best. that's when you can get the most air out because of all the pressure build up in the system...but again, it's very dangerous if the motor is hot and opening the radiator cap releases hot vapors. do not try unless you know what you are doing.

With the car cold, remove the rad cap and fill the radiator to the top with water/coolant.
Start the car. Stay and watch the fluid level.
The car will "burp" out the air. Just keep the fluid levels full. Once the car is up to normal operating temp you should be good to go. Pop the rad cap back on and enjoy.

If its equipped, otherwise, Ricey is spot on with the addition of: put your heater controls to full hot but do not turn the fan on. Coolant needs to circulate through the heater core too.
