Default amp for my 12" Alpine Type R

I just got a 12" Alpine Type R sub and was wondering what kind of amp I should use. For specson the sub, go http://iweb.alpine-usa.com/pls...ore=y or http://www.crutchfield.com/S-3...R1241.

I would look for a mono block amp that makes at least 300 watts rms into a 2ohm load like the MRP-M350 or the MRD-M301 and even better the MRD-M605.
Also you may want to look at the JL Audio 250/1 a little underpowered or the 500/1 a little overpowered, [you can always turn the gain down. 94

the jls put out more than what they are rated, so i would get the 250/1 for the type r. you can get them for under $300 shipped on egay or the net
