No one really uses wrap anymore; everyone gets theirs coated because wrapping the header usually results in the header being damaged over time.

Two comapnies that do good jobs coating the header is JetHot and HPC. do a search and you should find plenty of information

The advantage of wrapping the header is not really to gain hp but to lower the tempature in the engine bay and prevent heat deterioration to hoses and electrical wiring.

-what do you mean the header being damged over time?
i have the dc sports and i'd have mine for two years, never had any problem. i only did this reduce heat with the engine bay.

Most of the difficulty comes in a daily driver being wrapped & living in an area with lots of rain or snow - the header wrap (unless done VERY well & painted with their protective paint) can hold the moisture causing rusting problems.

Hope that helps. Consider wrapping the intake if it's aluminum or plastic to keep the intake air cool.

DC sports gives you a warranty on their headers. But now you have lost that privilege. Using a header wrap on a DC header will void it, because of the damage possibilities.
