It's normal, don't worry about it. You may want to try using Castrol GTX though, Honda motors seem to love it for some odd reason.

Ive used castrol before, and then i started valvoline, and i have to say both or pretty good to be honest. There is a track Nsx that represents castrol oil i think, you know the race car nsx in the gran turismo games.

You need to be using 5w30! and mobil synthetic will last for 8k miles.

If you love valvoline than use valvoline synthetic 5w30
also you should check all your fluids every couple of weeks.

i ran the quaker state high hp 5w30, the $4 quart on my stock gsr twice to see the difference, first 1500 miles ran great but seem to have consuption problems after. i would change it more often if hi-milage. anyone tried super tech oil? they suck and burn up like a b*tch!!

you're fine. I have the wretched massive oil consumption with no smoking and no visible major leaks. This is a real bitch. I essentially replace my oil 2x between oil changes -- I have to watch it and end up adding around 4 qts across the 3k mile stretch. Be happy
