if your fan isnt coming on it isnt the ECT or the thermostat, because the ECU would read it as hot and turn on the fan, even if it really wasnt hot. What exactly is the gauge doing?? is it going up and down really fast?
Just a word of advice, start at the basics. Check your coolant level. I had a problem with my needle going up and down, Had old *** coolant in rad, probably about 3 years old, changed it and needle stopped moving. If your problem keeps up you can go on to the next step. thermostat , sensor, ecu. etc, etc.......
