i have a 94 civic ex and my fans dont turn on and it starts to overheat i do know they work because i tried them direct from the battery but when plugged in proper way it wont turn on when it needs to any suggestions on how to fix it please tell me.

 

Fans? Isn't one fan for the radiator and the other is the A/C's fan. People remove their A/C and are left with that one fan. But you should check the thermostat. Take it out of its housing and inspect.

 

check your cooling system, thermo, hoses, the fan switch (not sure where its located) flush your radiator... but yea wat that guy said

 

Theres also a relay in the engine compartment fuse box jump that once to see if that helps.
