Vtec quit workin what's the problem
ok as I was driving down the road I notice my vtec was kickin in and also it won't let me rev past 7200 what could be the problem I checked my coolant level and my oil level everything is fine there so what could it be?
What car? Year, model, etc... 7200RPM? In an accord? Yeah, that would be the rev limiter kicking in. There's a reason why it would'nt let you go past 7200. It's to protect it from being destroyed by the "driver."

I figured out the problem it was the plug beside the vtec solenoid it had came aloose. plugged it back in now it runs like a champ thanks for everyone's help
Make sure you didnt dent your oil pan. If the oil pickup gets dented you wont have enough oil pressure to engage vtec. Also make sure the screens clean on the vtec solenoid. Check oil. Are there any check engine lights on?
Edit: nvm glad to here you got it figured out.
