Default Swapped US ITR cluster into 97 GSR and gas guage won't work (searched)

I installed my us type r cluster into my 97 GSR and the gas guage will not work. I had the same problem when I installed a type R cluster in my 92 EG. In the eg I simply put a obd 1 gas guage in the cluster and ended up with a different gas guage. Does anybody know of voltage differences between sending units or guages? Or is this just a coincidence?

The green stuff is the circuit. Why wouldn't that stay with the cluster?

you want to take the old circuit board/paper from your GSR and attach it to your new ITR cluster. -- this is the easy way

the hard way is to take out the gauges individually and transplant them to your GSR housing.... basically, it's the same **** as transferring the green stuff but the more complicated way.

your call... i had to do the same **** when i installed an ITR cluster.

hey the best way to do it is swap the actual gauges from your itr cluster to the stock gsr cluster dont even sway out the green sheet leave that alone just sway out the gauges
