Default 91 crx dx smoking...where to start?

Well, I noticed greyish smoke coming out of the rear of my car while driving fast...any suggestions on where to source this problem?

Are you sure it's grey..?? Not blue, white or black??

Or maybe your burning oil and coolant causing it to look grey??

haha if its for sure gray, smoke, smells like burning. It's your piston rings seeping oil. Make sure you watch the oil level to ensure you don't start to run low and burn up the engine further.
Look for a swap, you'll be better off anyway.

thanks guys...I know it's not white(headgasket), but it's either grey or blue...I was really low on oil before going on the Julian Drive, the oil was barely registering on the tip of the stick. I put in 2 qts and the level was way above the 2nd hole in the stick...could I just have too much oil and it's burning "out"?!?!? before the CRXpo, I'd never noticed the smoke

A compression and leak down test would be a good place to start. You can decide if it's worth it to fix the problem.
