auto to manual question ???
i know i know search right ?
trust me i have if i have to read ne more my head is gonna explode. i just did a auto to manual swap in my friends da. well the car is readin park and im pretty sure it should say neutral. is there ne way for me to jump it from park to neutral...
im completely lost.
I also dont know if this has ne thing to do w/ the car readin park, but as soon as i start it w/out touchin the gas it revs up to 3500 rpm.s then starts to slow up but keeps climbing some. I end up shuttin the car off before it gets to high. now would that have ne thing to do w/ the car being in park ? if not could it be tps or something along those lines ?
thanks

when u do the conversion you are supposed to wire the car into "park"
with the interlock wires you connect those to the switch on the top of the clutch pedal so the car only starts when the clutch was in
find a pinout of your ecu and go to the wiring harness and clip all the wires that come from anything automatic related as they are now un-needed. this cleared up several issues when i swapped trannys on my 94 integra
check the throttle cable as well as the tps as that could be a source of your revving problem
