Default Hey Guys

Hello everyone, I'm new to the site and just want to ask some questions. I just bought an 88 crx Si. As of now it has a B16a with short ram intake, dc sport header, 12 lb. flywheeel, Skunk2 intake manifold, Jacobs ignition, venom 400, short throw shift, high flow cat, 2.25 inch piping and a really horrible sounding muffler. I also own a 96 3000GT so I am new to the hondas, but man it is way faster than the 3000GT. So I was wondering what computer I can get to get rid of the 115mph limiter, it is OBD0. Also i've noticed that the rev limiter is at 7800 rpm. I have never heard of a B16 that cuts off that low. Is it the computer or maybe my gauges are off? Sof course I would like to get a few hundred more rpms out of it also. And the last question, what muffler can I get that might make it sound a little better. thanks guys.

Sounds like you have an automatic ecu. You can send your ecu to a re-chipper to convert it to 5 speed as well as removing the speed limiter and setting the redline and vtec activation to different rpms. There are quite a few members of this site who offer such services. As for the muffler, try either an ES or a Magnaflow.
