my car didn't pass 125 or so until i put on my headers. way more airflow than the stock headers.. if anything, after mods are done to your car, chipping your ecu, if i'm not mistaken, will increase you mph's...

Please, sell the car...

1. Top speed runs are stupid
2. Your car is being limited because IT HAS NO POWER OR TORQUE
3. A muffler will do you almost nothing but make you sound like ***.

You want to go fast? I've got about, if not more than 10k in mods alone in my GSR and it's still not as fast as a 2000 Mustang GT with Nitrous, thats with me doing my own work, not some shop, I am including the mods that came with the car when I bought it, but not their labor.

Please, just don't try.

If you do anyway, lets start with a basic question, auto or manual?

omg this post is just gonna get flamed an dflamed, and most people are gonna say crash your ******* car because your an idiot going that fast, and plz keep it on the track. I agree keep it on the track, but if you refuse plz be as safe as possible when engaging in dangerous activities that could kill you or other drivers that were not doing anyhting wrong. just keep these things in mind when you are speeding twice the speed limit.

i heard you can hit max speed by going off a cliff... that way if its tall enough you would hit the terminal velocity of your car... that would be very fast

no? so you can top your car out without your ECU interupting? must be JDM.

I know some car companies electronically limit their cars to 155mph, but i dont think our cars are even geared to go that fast. not that a stock GSR would ever reach that speed anyways.

and the JDM ECUS limit speed to like 117mph i think.

i wont argue with you anymore....dc's dont have a speed governor....they have a rev limiter and a fuel cutoff...you said they had a speed governor which is completely false...but of course you will try and dance your way around it
