Want to Stiffen Del Sol VTEC with Strut/Sway Bars, Help Me Out
I've searched and read all of the crap but all I want to do is stiffen this thing up as much as possible with strut or sway bars, NO ROLL BARS, it's my wife's car.
Just let me know what strut tower or sway bars are the real deal and will stiffen this thing up.
I appreciate it. Side Note: Considering Vortech S/C Kit this summer, any opinions?

You have a del sol vtec
it comes with stiffer springs than the lower models, better dampers
front and rear stabilizers -- equivalent to gsr size, ie: 14mm diameter rear bar
front upper and lower tower/tie bars
adding extra bars normally won't do much if you haven't changed out the springs and dampers first.
if you do want to change out a bar, swap the rear bar for the progress 22-23mm rear bar and get some nice tires.
adding a rear tower bar will make the trunk less useful for many things, but it depends on how you use the trunk and if you're carrying a spare.

used to have a del sol. it had tokico with ST springs (i think i don't remember) and ST sway bar kit. it was great. gf have a civic with agx with h&r with ST sway bar kit also.
Now the dampers and springs will stiffen the ride I know but will this also help the torsional rigidity? That's actually the main thing I'm after. It just shakes and quivers too much over bumps like it's bending in half.

It's a unibody car with a removable roof, there's not much you can do for torsional rigidity outside of welding in a cage.

Strut bars will do nothing for you except maybe improve turn-in feel; and sway bars essentially modify your springrate and only effect body roll, not rigidity.

Okay, thanks for your help.
So pretty much I'm not going to be able to increase the torsional rigidity of the car without going to extreme measures.
I just hate how loose it is and how the doors start to sag no matter what you do etc.
Thanks again.
