is the 88 civic hatch interior harness the same as a 88 crx harness??
came across a 88 crx dash and harness, would like to knwo if the harness were the same for the hatch/crx's?
even if there not, due to say length, will i be able to use it?

hmmm, will my hatch harness work with the crx dash? im assuming it will.
the dash is crx si and my car is a dx

well i guess i should state what im doing here.
i currently drive the 88 dx hatch. the 88 is rusted out beyond repair. picked up a 90 cx hatch dirt cheap with a rust free chassis.
so im building up the d16 and planned on swapping everything from the 88 chassis to the 90 chassis. the reason i want to swap the interior is because the 90 interior is ugly (when compared to the black/grey interior of the 88).
came across a 88 crx si that was being parted out and just needed to know if it would work, this way there would be less down time.
another option would be to just buy a complete si interior harness locally.

Use the CRX dash, Now about the wiring you have 1 option only without converting the body harness.
that is:: Use the original harness from your DX dash and use the old style climate control.
This is what I did when I put a CRX dash in my 88 HB dx.

The only thing I noticed with the swap was where the Center console met the Dash its a little cocked to one side...Ive since taken care of some of it...so its not noticable anymore.
OH and 1 more thing, You HAVE TO use the brackets on the little hump in the center of the car from the CRX as well, or the bottom dash mount and Ebrake surround will not bolt down. And you DO NOT want to ride without the Lower dash mount, one big bump and you will have a Large crack in it.
