if you mean the rear...

you need to apply pressure on the hub or hammer it out using another bolt.

use a 17 mm wrench to hold the Bolt in place while you back the nut off. Chances are the bolt is spinning as you spin the nut. Are you using an impact?

+2

Use a 'catalytic' penetrant (buy at auto parts store) if it's frozen and holding the bolt with another wrench does not work.

Torch, PB blaster and two ratchets for that fork, Or hold one side of the bolt and have a friend with a wrench and breaker bar crank on the nut. After you get it out lube the bolt up with some grease. Will prevent any 'occurances' in the future.

+2! PB Blaster was the penetrant I was thinking of, could not remember the name tho.

Either grease, or anti-sieze compound on the threads to stop it happening again. However, I'm not sure if this is recommened for the 'self-locking nut' Honda specs on there. I doubt it would be an issue, and I never replace those nuts every time like the Helms says.

1: apply heat to nut till it just begins to glow.
2: remove nut.
3: remember bolt is hot too.
4: drink beer.

17mm wrench, or socket on a ratchet on one end, and impact on the other, zzzipp, and you're done in 5 seconds.

Breaker bar is a must-have in the tool box! Save your ratchets from death.

Although you can always stick a piece of metal pipe on the end of the ratchet for more leverage.

Let the PB soak in for a few hours or overnight for maximum effect.

That thing sounds like a real problem. Are you holding the bolt with another wrench? (If wrench is not long enough for leverage, you can let it turn until the wrench hanle [on the bolt] contacts the wheelhouse, which will hold it. Then you have both hands free to reef on the nut.)
