I am trying to help my step sister replace her VSS in her accord, but I have no idea where it is, and can no find any diagrams or anything to help me out. I have a small clue, but can not verify.

can any one help me out?

I believe it is located on top of the transmission, but don't quote me on that.

 

yes, it is on the top of the transmission...

 

right on top towards the back of it. there is a harness plugging into it. on my manual it was right near the shift linkage, but i know u said urs was an auto you should be able to find it just fine.

 

its on the top of the tranny should be held in by two bolts u cant miss it.

 

it's somewhat hard to locate. Look almost directly below the thermostat housing. You'll see a wire harness and maybe a coolant hose. Look past that and you'll see the VSS. It will make it easier to locate if you remove the intake tube.
