I searched the forum but unlucky to find a related post.
Where is the VSS located? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

I posted a step by step for replacing it at the end of the above thread. I just did it on my 91 Accord 5spd the other week.
The VSS is located on the top of the transmission on the passenger side. You'll want to take off the air intake to work on it. It's a bit of a pain to get to but the whole thing shouldn't take you more than half an hour.
Edit: Also, you'll want to remove one of the transmission cable brackets to get easier access to a couple of the bolts. That's the big time-saving tip for this job.

Re: Vehicle speed sensor (the heep)
Hey the heep thanks.
I found it and just replaced it.
It was sitting on top of the transmission under the thermostat housing.
It took me like 30 minutes with a 1'4" drive 10mm socket attached to a universal joint and a 4" 1/4" extension.
You were right, it was easier if you remove the intake boot, but there is no need to remove the shifter cable bracket although it will be much easier.
I have a spare 91 Accord with an 150k mile automatic tranny sitting on the ground. I just took it out and put it on my 200k manual tranny and rebuilt F22 motor.
Thanks again.

Re: Vehicle speed sensor (AccordEX1991)
Cool, I'm glad to see it worked out well for you.
Removing the tranny cable bracket just makes it a bit easier. You just have to choose if you'd rather get off three easy bolts or one hard one.
