Ya, you'll need an alignment because you'll need to get the toe into spec. I'm not sure if the teg steering rack will bolt up on your EK though.

It won't fit. Integras and EGs are interchangeable because they run similar chassis, but they won't interchange with EK's. I was looking into the same thing (swapping steering racks for better gear ratios), but the only parts that interchange are from other EK's. I've heard rumors that SI's have better steering ratios, but I was never able to confirm this.

I believe 99-00 SI's are 3 turns LTL, so if those parts are interchangeable then you should see a benefit.

If you do end up swapping steering racks you should be able to get your toe damn close to zero so that you can drive it to get professionaly aligned. Just use a tape measure and measuer between the front of the two tires and the back of the two tires. The difference in this measurement will be your toe. You definately do not want to drive with the toe too far from spec, it is a goo way to destroy tires very fast.

But if you are retaining stock motor and i have no idea is the rear mount will line up.

92-95/94+ integra subfame will bolt up to an ek.
so the steering rack will work but additional parts are needed.
~sub frame from a 92-95 civic/ 94+ integra
~steering rack
~front lca's

this is required in the hasport's ekk2 K series mount kit to bring the k series swap higher in an ek chasis.

check out hasports.com for more details.

i know this guy that swapped an itr subframe/steering rack on his ek hatch.. but he has a b-series in his car
i'm still on my d16 .. i'm only swapping racks only because mine is leaking power steering fluid. i though why not swap into a better rack and i also got a good deal on the subframe w/ rack from a gsr.
