Default ls/vtec reliable for boost?

sup bout to pick up teg with ls block b16head /tranny, the kid says it runs rich and theres some valve tap......would u trust it?.....a very general question but im bout to boost and i was thinkin bout jus takin that motor apart and building it, what do u guys think

i believe all honda's have some sort of tap to it.....maybe yours is louder? Depending on how many lbs of boost, i would build the bottom end just to be safe....I'm sure some of the turbo guys will chime in sooner or later though

yea and def bust my ***** about "search feature" lol thanks for ur input dude....btw i looked thru like 9000 lsvtecturbo posts so needs to bust my foreign *****

id ask to see paper work on the conversion and see what all was done, and for reliability...it should be, and as for the valve tap it might need a valve adjustment

leak down test...alot more precise...not as broad as a compression test

heh...if you willing take it apart and rebuild it, then you dont have to worry about reliablity...unless you screw something up yourself
