I have a 98 accord bought it about 10 months ago and it hasnt really given me problems but ive noticed that my car vibrates speacially when its hot outside. Im guessing that it would be the motor mounts or something else the car has 80,000 miles can you help me

 

check the tire pressure

 

need a bit more info,,, when does it vibrate ?? driving?? low speed? high speed? at idle?? worse in gear if automatic?? worse with a/c on ??

 

My car does the same. On Idle in vibrates- Nothing too much, but you can see it and feel it.

Also when i put the AC on it vibrates when it's idle.

what can i do?

my 95 does the same things, it got better when i tuned it and adjusted valves, i found with older accord with high milage they all do that....tho motor mounts are possible along with a vacuum leak

 

I have a vibration at about 2000 and 2600 RPM. I believe it is one of the heat shields. Mine is fine when cold in the morning and it increases as the car gets hot. There are 5 heat shields on this car and it is the most complicated exhaust system I have ever owned. That and the fact it is a large 4 cylinder is why we have vibrations. My hope is that given time I can fine the shield that vibrates.
Maybe it can be the engine mounts but my money is on the heat shields.

 

how in the world would a heat shield cause the entire car to vibrate...? that would cause a loud buzzing sound
