I just got a 98 civic coupe...should I put the head unit on the upper part of the dash or below behind the shifter? I prefer having it concealed since the neighborhoods where I park it arent exactly safe, but would behind the shifter be a pain in the *** while I drive?

 

No, it's not that bad having it in front of the shifter. I had mine there for awhile. You just have 2 radios in there, other than that it's fine.
