swap?
now i know there have been 100million post's about this but theres sooo much bs i cant find exactly what i want. I have a 98 civic obdII i think. What swap would be the easiest, and could still pass emissions and such?
any 96 and newer obdII engine should be a pretty easy swap, a obdII integra motor will probably be the best bang for the buck and is pretty much a bolt in swap

hwo does the whole junkyard sceen work? i look for a smashed si and tell them i want the engine and tranny? what would that run at a junkyard?
well try for your self. It's pretty much common sense when you call them. Tell them you want axles, the engine assembly, transmission (not tranny, some are gonna say, "what the hell is that"..LMAO), shift linkage, alternator, and other morotr stuff you need. Since you own a car i am pretty sure you should know what else you need. And buy the ECU from ebay, it's much cheaper

huh? please type a little bit better.
its better to do it all at once so you dont have time to lag on the project! Or if you are dedicated you can piece it together. All on your preference, I'd say do it all at once or within one week if you have the budget, makes life easier. Not to mention no lag on the project!
PM me and i'll give ya a list of parts you need. With a 98 like mine, it'll be a bolt on, IF you have an EX (D16Y8), if not then you are gonna have to do some rewiring for the V-tech.
