If i was going to send a head to a machine shop what would they do to it.

Im just trying to gather enough info on what parts i need to send with the head for reassembly afterwards like valves reatiners etc.

i wanna build the car for to turbo now but im gonna drive it NA for a while

 

well they can do a couple things..of course port and polish, valve job, milling and they can hot tank it for you...i dont know much about porting and i know that there are different techniques...id really suggest searching i know that you will find a lot oh for reassembly it depends on what you wanna do...i would definettly get new valve springs...but retainers and valves are recommended as well...i would definetely get new valve seals as well..
