Default :rear caliper piston question:

*i meant caliper* man im not with it today!!

i removed the old pads from the used rear discs i bought and i was wondering if i need to rotate the piston before putting the new pads in?? thank you

The slot on the piston needs to line up with the tab on the pad.
You can see and mess with it through the hole on the backside

the piston is extended from the body, and needs to be compressed??

Right.
Spin it so it will fit over the fatter pads, then spin it a bit again, to line it up

get a pair of needle nose pilers, open them wide enough to fit in the grooves....turn, turn, turn until the piston goes back in
