I have a Clarion DB346MP CD Tuner which I am trying to install in my car. I have got most of it connected but am unsure where two of the connectors go. These are the different wires I have.

Black Wire(ground)
Orange/White(illumination)
Yellow(memory)
Red(power)
Blue/white(Turn on Lead)
Brown(Connect to cellular phone mute lead)

I am not sure where the blue/white(Turn on lead), and the Orange/White(illuminaion) connects to. In the install manual that came with the CD Tuner it says that the blue\white(Turn on lead) connects to somewhere called Turn-On Lead to Power Antenna. I am only hooking up the tuner not any amplifers, is this lead for connecting up an amplifier or what. Also can you tell me what the use of the Orange\White(illumination) lead is for and where it connects to.

The blue/white is a turn on lead, [trigger lead] it only has power on it when the HU is on, and would be used to turn on an amp, [if you had one] or to trigger the power ant. to go up, [if you have one of them] most HU have a blue wire, [along with the blue/white] for the ant., [only has power when radio is on] the blue/white has power anytime the HU is on.

The orange/white illumination wire would be connected to the red/black, [I think on most Honda/Acuras] but whatever color it should be the only one left over when everything else is hooked up, it does diff. things on diff. HUs, but mostly on newer HUs it will dim the display, [as it doesn't need to be as bright at night to see] 94
