jdm b16 obd2 swap...RATTLING NOISE...HELP
hey i just swapped a obd2 b16a in my ek. now when i start the car it makes this rattling noise. the sound is similar to a tab in a can of coke or something and its lightly vibrating. when i give it gas i cant hear it. but i prolly cant hear it cuzz my engine and exhaust is so loud. but when it goes back down to 1100 to 1500 rpm i hear it again. its definitely coming from the distributor area. maybe under my valve cover near the distributor. any suggestions??

low on motor oil? tranny oil?....valve springs?...get a fuel system/injection cleaner? ..for dirty deposits.
does it only happen with clutch grabbing? does it go away if u press down the clutch?...shift linkage hitting the exhaust pipe?

but it sounds like its coming DIRECTLY from the valve train right next to the distributor. if its the heatshield shouldnt the sound be coming from UNDER the car>???? thx for the replies btw
