Default zc sohc non vtec compression

i bought zc sohc non vtec from atarco, it's pretty old because it still has a fuel pump for a carburetor. it looks just like a d161a6, does anyone know any specs for hp and compression on this motor?

So you purchased a carburated ZC? Hopefully Honda stayed cheap and kept the internals the same as usual which would mean you are at the standard 9.1:1.

its not quite the same as a A6. and i dont think it will produce you any more power. while probably the bottom end is the same, the cam is NOT the same as the 120ps MPFI ZC.

Are you positive the cam is not the same in the carb'd and mpfi version? My zc came from hmotors carb'd but I switched to mpfi. It will pull on any civic/crx w/d16. I was thinking it made less power because of the carb but I don't know. Any hard evidence the cam is different?

yeah im sure. ive dial indicated both. others have done the same with similar results.

maybe putting the carbed cam in the A6 will make more power. but the timing of the exhaust is off, duration is a bit different too for the carbed cam. the mpfi cam is exact same as A6 except the intake has a higher lift, but timing and duration is the same. so it just breathes better, along with the 4-2-1 exhaust manifold. ecu's are different too, but who knows whats (PR5) different than PM6.

its all revealed here.
