Wat up guys, I have a small sunroof prob. When i close the sunroof, the right side seems to get stuck for s split second and causes the sunroof to close at an angle. I tried cleaning the rails and re-lubricating them but it still does the same thing. Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this? Could it be the sunroof motor? Thanx for any info.

 

Most likely one of the many plastic things is broken, which is causeing this to happen.

 

i had this problem too but really bad it sounds like ur cables are getting worn.
the sunroof is run by a screw like cable the cables are about 170 from the dealer. best way to see if it is take the liner down and look at it

 

OMG 170. It would be cheaper to get a whole new sunroof assembly from a junk yard. Mine was 100 bucks, and has lasted 2 1/2 years.

 

yea i tried the junkyard but they look just as bad as mine

 

thanx guys. im going to try to take the sunroof off to get a better look at what is happening. If it is those cables, then ill probably go the same route sohcvtec1995 did & go to a junkyard.

 

i have a sunroof out of a 93 ex will give you a good price it works good i was going to use to put it on my dx but i sold my car so i just have it in my room ...anyways pmed send
