D-series Spark Plug Tube Seals in Valve Cover Removal
What is the trick to remove all four spark plug tube seals in the valve cover? These things will not come out at all. I keep tugging on them and more and more of the rubber comes off, piece by piece. Shouldn't these gaskets slip right off just like a B-series cover?
I've never had such difficulty with gaskets before.

Also, are there little metal rings in these seals too? Cause when I was pulling away at these seals, I was running into metal rings. Should they be removed too?
Uhh, i dont think so
you need to take the valve cover off the engine first
then the tube seals just sit in there, and they dont have any metal rings in them, thats odd.
they should just come right out, ive never had that problem, especially if they are leaking, usually they will just fall right out.
