Default What can I do about a P1300 CEL?

JDM H22a, converted to run OBD2. I'm using a 96 P13. Finally thought I had the car ready to pass inspection and I'm still throwing random misfire codes. I don't get it because the car drives great. I get the four codes for each cylinder plus P1300 which is something like "manufacturer control, ignition system"

Plugs/cap/rotor/wires are all new, so is this something in the distributer?

I think I may have figured it out. Turns out that obd1 injectors are 345cc, and obd2 are 290cc. I'm still running the obd1 injectors, so it's gotta be running a little rich using the obd2 ecu right?

It runs great with either the obd1 or obd2 ecu, but only throws a code on the obd2.
Doesn't seem to drive any diff with one ecu from the other, and no smoke or anything either.

How can I check the coil and the igniter to see if they are bad? Do they commonly go bad?
