Hey iam looking to install a ls motor and tranny that cable into me civic but my civic has a hydro clutch pedal and i was wondering if anyone swapped it out for a calbe pedal before i can get all the parts iam just wanting to know has anyone done this before..

I don't believe it's very common for people to do a hydro --> cable conversion, most people go cable --> hydro. You might look for a hydro tranny since your car is already set up for a hydraulic system.

 

If you only knew how hard it is for me to find a hydro tranny and when i do find one they charging like 600 for an ls tranny at that price i might as well buy a gsr tranny...

 

I know how hard it is to find one of those, they're not all easy to come by. And when you do come by one, they're not as cheap as d-series trannies, that's for sure. At the end of the day, you can do a hydro -> cable conversion on your car. You said you had all the parts, and I know people on here have done the cable -> hydro conversion before, so I guess just do it backwards.

 

Thos people you said you know that have done cable to hydro can you give me one of there names so i can ask them a few ?'s about going on about doing this

 

I don't personally know people who have done this conversion, but I have came across posts before of people doing the conversion. It's not extremely common, but it has been done on here before.
