Default Wiring problem? VSS problem? Hmmmm..

So i recently just got another swap. (gsr) My Speedo worked fine before the swap, now that i got it done, it doesn't work. Well, it works, but liek only when it wants to. Sometimes it will liek jump all crazy and stuff, and soemtimes it reads fine, but then i give it some gas and it jumpes around, or just goes straight to 0. The tripometer, or odometer doesn't work either? Please help.....

check the connector and see if its loose. should be tight. also lot of times it gets damaged. so look and see if thats the problem. see if the connectors are damaged or dirty. i had the same problem before i had to cut the clip off and solder a new one on.

i had the same problem with my eg6 cluster... i was like hell no it better not be messed up cause i dont want to dish out the money to get another one... i had no cel so i assumed it was the cluster... so i punched it to see if vtec would engage and it just stuck at 4800 so i pulled the vss... it had water inside the connector from a storm the night before... i dried it out, put it back in and it works like a charm
