Best Dash Conversion
Im thinkin to do conversion on my EG dash. Would you reckon an EK dash or an integra will fit straight bolt on without having to do any mods on it. By no mods I mean using the same bolts and everything. Your assistance are appreciate greatly.
I'd say stick to another EG dash. There will be modifications for other dashes to fit (i.e. cutting and drilling new bolt hole) and don't forget to mention your door panels and rewiring.

Integra dash is time consuming. The bolts don't line up. Plus, you will most likely have to do custom doors. The shape is different and you will have to modify your door panels to accomodate.

but if youre going to just change the dash to a different color then its just pointless when your interior is one color and the dash is another.. IMO its not worth the 50bucks or so that people are selling it for

BlueIntegraBoy did it and his car looks way better now.

uhm i dont think you know what i was saying.i never mentioned anything bout complete interior. this was concerning his dash and you replied to one of my post saying that maybe he has a grey or blue dash and want to convert it. i was saying "interior is one color and the dash is another.. ". get it now?
it all in the owner's head. i had a 93 civic coupe and it had grey interior... it was all in my head that it would look better black so i also changed my interior black so i know wt youre saying ok doky?

If the guy wants to do an EK dash swap, his interior won't match. Unless he's ready to do some modifications, the Integra dash won't be ideal. Plus the only color that would match would be a black dash assuming he has black interior. If not, it would pointless to have a black Integra or Civic dash without the rest of the interior being black. I love my black interior from blue. Took me 4 months to get the pieces, well worth it.

bah, why do something others have done, chop up a TL dash, or a rsx with a s200 gauge, you kids just keep coping other peoples stuff.. do something orignal
Thanks guys for all the input. If I do the dash swap I will certainly do the swap for the rest of the interior to black it's just in Aussie its hard to get the black trim interior even the Si interior trim gray but anyway thanks so much.
