Help please. Novice (?) mechanic so be kind. 1998 Civic LX automatic. Had check engine light - replaced upper O2 sensor, that was code - and cleared it. Running much better but still a random miss that sometimes puts light back on (PO-300, P-0301, P-0302, etc.) Can someone give me a list of things to tune / replace in order of simplicity / cost / importance? Such as distributor, plug wires, fuel filter, etc. - just changed plugs and air filter last year but not wires. Do I ask too much!? Thanks!
on the ignition side,
Dizzy cap + rotor
Plug wires
Sparkplugs
on the fuel side,
Fuel filter
Fuel pump
Injectors
I would start with the ignition components.

i would try a bottle of fuel system/injector cleaner first. it's cheap and easy to do. however, if you havent done alot of the regular maintenance things (air filter, plugs, wires, rotor, cap, fuel filter), i'd also do those to be on the safe side
