cp piston clearences
Well, i would give them a call and see what they say. In general it is usually between .010-.025 but you want to get an exact number. I would call and see what they recommend based on the compression, naturally aspiration, bore size, and ring expansion. Give them a call and see what they say.
Also if you can't get a hold of them there are many reputable engine builders on here that could recommend a good spec for you.
Just FYI, my 85mm bore 11.3:1 compression b-series has the top ring gapped at .015 and the 2nd ring at .017. This is with arias pistons and rings. In case you didn't already know, the top ring is much harder and takes some time to file. THe 2nd ring is very soft and files really quickly so take it real slow becuase once you file it down you can't go back. ALso when you place the rings on the pistons, be very careful when you expand them to put in the ring grooves, the 2nd one will break very very easily. I learned the hard way.
