It can make a difference since you can adjust the cam timing that way, but what kind of mods do you have?

If I remember correctly you have to have some decent, supporting mods to really make it worthwhile.

yea for cam mods you need mods to make the mods work its kinda confusing but if you do a lot of stuff to it, it will help out

to make the best out of a cam gear you will need at minium a performance cam. also so kind of Fuel management, timing(i.e. msd, crane, etc..). A cam gear alone will do nothing. Trust me i know. Got my car dyno'ed and the retarded my cam timing a whole .5 deg. big whoop.

If they are stock cam(s), cam gear(s) won't help. If you have aftermarket cam(s), they will.

If you are going to get a cam, you might need valvetrane too. Search the all motor forum, there have been tons of threads on this.
