Default radiator fan doesnt work????

last night i was at the gas station buying **** and left the car running while the girl was in it after waiting in line for 5 or so minutes i went and got in my car and saw that it was over halfway up the temp gauge. i started driving it and it cooled down went home shut it off.

on the way to a friends house i was sitting at a stop light and it started getting hot again so i pulled over and popped the hood and realized that the fan wasnt on, does anybody know why it would just all of a sudden it wouldnt work??

it could be any of the above, including the fuse. I recently had the same probelm with an aftermarket fan, only to find out that it was the fan that was bad.

well if its the radiator the radiator relay switch could have gone out when that geos out the car doesnt know when to turn the fan on and if its not your radiator that casues your car to over heat it could be your water pump.

That pretty much sounds like your thermostat is starting to go bad. You may want to change it because it will happen again
