Default supercharger...

any tried or heard of a centrifugal type supercharger on a h22??? I know procharger sells a universal kit with a large plate to make custom brackets.... i think the SC could fit right where the A/C condenser is.... maybe have to move some stuff around..... maybe a custom made pulley... anyone think it could work... centrifugal is way more efficient than a roots type isn't it?

I was on here a while ago looking for one. or plans. the hardest part is going to be the bracket for the supercgarger to be lined up with the pullies.

I was planning on designing a bracket but i am not working in a machine shop anymore. I would love to own a vorteched prelude.

when i used to have my lude i looked into centrifugal Sc's, there currently isnt one. For the b series motors there are, but no H series ones right now. Its a rumor they are working on them though.

i would think it would be easy to fit a centrifugal sc on our cars. remove ac, design a bracket(which isn't that hard) and slap it on. just buy the s/c buy the rest of the kit custom and there ya go. i wish i had a procharger so i could design the bracket myself.

when i get my h22 and extra 5k i'm gonna try it... I really can't wait I wanna see how it turns out! I'm gonna go with the procharger custom kit... and I like that they have the back side self contained... no having to run oil lines and all that
