My friend ( who is very crazy ) put a 75 shot on a 94 dx with 150+++ miles on it and it took it like a champ, but it also smoked like a chimney too.He ran the 75 shot up to 185+++ miles and then sold the car. Still ranf good though. Id recomend a 50 shot like stated above.

my friend did a 150 shot on his 5.0 mustang, and decided to show off at the track and starting doing dounuts and **** with the nitrous on!!!. then after like 45 seconds, his rod flew out of his block. HAHA good times.

one of my friends had a b16a2 in his dx coupe for about a couple of months...then set up a 50 shot dry kit when it was at like 44k bitch blew at 63k..he was pissed indeed..daily driver and probably sprayed 2 times a week.
I say put a zero shot on. Save your money for the B-swap plain and simple. Sell the D series for extra cash when you swap the B in.

I have personally ran 75 shot on my d16y7. Ran at least 15 bottles thru before I melted a valve, then I got a fuel pump
I then ran the 75 shot on my LS motor for 2 years no problem with the walboro. Moral of the story, make sure you got the fuel or else.

It depends on the condition of the motor, the type of nitrous system installed, spark plugs, tuning, etc. I had a buddy that ran about 10 bottles jetted at 100 shot through an internally stock y8; the tranny went before the motor did.

You obviously haven't been on Honda-Tech for long enough to know this, but D-series guys are looking for spare parts all the time... this engine would make a perfect mini-me for someone who doesn't want to have alot of down time. What I can tell you now is that nobody will want to buy it after it's been raped by NOS.

Or have much common sense either - what about Average Joe who just wants a replacement engine for his 500k mile civic? I'll bet you could get at least $300 out of a good, low milage D16Y7.
Oh, and that's not to mention us D series freaks...
