Is there any difference in the power window wiring harness inside the doors and the window regulators/motors between a '96-'98 and '99-'00??

Anyone know?

yea the floor harness between the 96-98 and 99-00 are different.
i can help you with the wires if its for a 96

I already have a floor harness out of a '99 SI and my civic is a '99. I found door internals out of a '98. It should work right?

Can anyone else confirm this?

 

yup hes is right.. the lock boxes are on the door harness fo r96-98 and on the floor harness for 99-00..

but u don't really need that u can wire u alarm to the door locks like i did

 

What if our not planning on using the power door locks? just the power windows part?

Will the '96-'98 plug up to the '99-'00 Floor harness and the power windows & speakers work?

 

naw man.. it is totally different... 96-98 and 99-00 harnesses are different power window or doorlocks.. 96 and 99 will not plug n play together
