Default It wont turn off !!!!!

Dame I just got it running and now it doesn't want to turn off this sucks a fat one. The only way I can turn it off is if I disconnect throttle cable. It doesn't make sense I just turn the key and nothing it just sits there running. WHY WONT SHE LISTEN TO ME !!!! Please help Thanks.

deisel wont make it not turn off. If you put deisel in it it wouldnt even start, deisel is run by SUPER high compression and that causes heat and that burns the deisel. Whats probably happening is that your car is getting another power source to make it continue to run. This happened to my friends car, his radiator fan was rigged up by the old owner and even after he turned the car off it would still run (deisel), I would say check your wiring.

weird if you ask me. On a side note we put diesel in a goped it was fast til it started smoking

Yea over here in Florida there is a station that sells 110 or something like that and on the pump it reads leaded. Its on us27 i think its before Pembroke rd

she wants to keep driving huh?well maybe its your ecu,ignition switch,check the back of the ignition and see if any wires r touchn metal or disconected i duno im jus throwin in some ideas of what it might be

This has nothing to do with the post but My 4 dr is a ef8 or ef9. I think the 9 is the crx im not really sure.

My 1991 civic 4dr is an ED3

All USDM civic/crx are ED chassis.

The ED8 is the crx Si
The ED9 is the civic Si

ef9 = jdm civic hatchback
ef8 = jdm crx

Back on topic. Check your wiring and try a new ignition maybe?

ok back to the subject check the ignition switch also could be the main relay sticking open
