Quick question... I have a .60 a/r .63 hotside sc61, I believe it is a T3? Anyways, I know that precision says these are good for at least 630 at the crank. I want to know what kind of numbers people have made with the SAME turbo. Will I be able to make at least 550whp with this turbo? Also, would the s cover be a good investment? How would it benifet? Thanks a lot guys!

 

the sc61 is rated for 680 crank hp... you can make 550 no problem, ill be running one on my build if all goes right

 

B18C1YA made over 600 WHP on an SC61 at 27 psi, so have a few others. People have made 500 WHP with it on pump gas, too.

 

Thanks for the replies. There are three different sc61 turbos that precision makes, the highest being rated at 680. I am more or less wondering about my specific turbo. I hear some people saying the t3 sc61 .60/.63 will not be efficient enough. I disagree, which is why I want someone to prove these people wrong. Thanks again!!!!

You will be fine, there are several cars on here making between 500-600whp with the sc61.

 

i cleared 600 on a GT35R......pretty much the same thing
