whats up everyone? i have to do a headgasket on my 99 ex sohc turbo. im gonna be doing headstuds also. the motor i have is the d16y8. i was wondering should i use the y8 headgasket or use the d16z6 gasket instead. reason y im asking is because i was thinking of droping the compression ratio.
most likely ill be using the y8 gasket. i just want sum feed back on what u gusy think.

honda sells the same gasket for both engines.

the stock compression is perfect for turbo, especially low boost (assuming you are low boost if you have stock internals...)
